Masala Massi Ltd was founded by husband and wife team Mahesh and Kam. Their love for each other and their children helped them find a gap in the market to create great tasting, healthy and nutritious curry sauces. On our journey we found that the Bolly Bolly sauce also doubles up as a dipping sauce!
It all started back in June 2010 when Kam slightly modified one of her family curry sauce recipes and added it to some Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese). We sold it at a Foodies event in wraps and it was an instance success. Customers started to ask if we were selling the sauce as well. Obviously at that stage we did not ever even contemplate producing the sauce just by itself. But after the second day, I started to think about bottling the sauce, so began our market research. I asked everyone that tasted our sauce if they would buy it if it was bottled. An astounding 95% said they would!
Well nearly a year on now and we have now gone from selling food to being a manufacturing company of authentic and traditional Massi's Bolly Bolly Masala Curry Sauce. Since our product launch the feedback has been tremendous, people just keep coming back for more! But as a small company we were only making enough sauces to sell at the weekends. It took nearly 2 hours just to make a batch of 18 jars. So, we now have the sauce made for us by a family company based in Kent. They have actually managed to use better ingredients then we use to and suprisingly it has not compromised on the taste!
Over the next few months we will roll out our products and get them into as many retail outlets as possible to enable you, our customers to enjoy our Bolly Bolly range of products!
